Scott is the Lead Recruiter for Front-End Engineering at Canva; a browser design platform that is democratising design.

A Psychology graduate who majored in Organisational Psych. & Emotional Intelligence, Scott has completed a UX Design course enabling him to bring a user centered approach to recruitment. Understanding the best approach to hiring is not only finding the right person in terms of skillset, but ensuring the candidate feels the role and company is also the right fit for them. This ensures both parties have a great experience throughout the process.

Beginning his career in agency land in 2011, Scott ‘s interest in innovation and improving the approach to recruitment saw him move internal, joining Atlassian to cut his teeth within the tech space before joining Canva. Scott has worked with a number of product start ups, drawing on his industry experience to advise on recruitment products and best practice.

Scott also established Atlassian Charity Mixer and been a part of several philanthropic ventures, locally and overseas.
