Lerato is a is a dynamic, passionate leader and speaker with a talent for telling stories that inspire action, and is a credible voice in strategy development, decision making and establishing governance boundaries.

Communication, and advocacy is her passion, developed and honed through her 17-year corporate career which has spanned across the Mining, Financial Services, Oil and Gas, and IT industries. She intuitively sees the opportunities from constantly evaluating the influence of technology in the solutions available for the South African employment landscape, to ensure that trend evaluation is always done in conjunction with the business imperatives and strategic drivers, allowing her to bring them together in a coherent whole that extends thinking and drives material advantage (financial or otherwise). She is also the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Kuehne + Nagel Inzuzo Trust, which invests in the education and entrepreneurial development of young South African women.

She is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where employees (especially women and members of the LGBTI+ community) can contribute meaningfully to the development of our economy. She achieves this vision through facilitating dialogue, empowerment and training (skills development) and creating change at the systemic level of corporate entities, so they can drive the changes that advocacy has been evangelising for years.
