ROB CAMPBELL

FACEBOOK // UNITED KINGDOM

Rob joined Facebook as a Technical Sourcer in their London Office in October 2017 following more than four years spent at Google as a Global Technical Sourcer. He is passionate about addressing the lack of representation of certain groups in the technology industry and has worked on diversity projects with long term impact to address these problems.

Over the course of a tech recruitment career that has spanned more than seven years at Facebook, Google, Babylon Health and Tripadvisor; Rob has worked with many of the world’s top computer scientists, as hiring managers and potential candidates, for a variety of roles across the globe. With a keen interest in employing creative sourcing techniques to solving interesting problems, Rob has been inspired by the sourcing scripture of websites like Boolean Blackbelt and Sourcecon.

Learning constantly, being open to sharing best practices and maintaining a positive feedback loop is integral to Rob’s approach. Having been lucky enough to have learnt from some of the best minds in sourcing such as Danny Crook, Tim Duong and Kevin Grice, Rob actively tries to share his experiences and those same best practices, offering mentorship, guidance and training to others in the industry.

Prior to his time as an in-house Technical Sourcer, Rob worked as a Consultant in agency recruitment for over a year following the completion of his History Bachelor of Arts from the University of London.
